LET’S SIGN is the name of the series of publications that has been developed over the last 20 or so years and began life as DeafBooks – an independent producer and publisher of BSL materials for adults and children.

All of the books, posters and flashcards available directly from our Let’s Sign BSL site are printed and produced in the UK by Alphagraphics Northeast with Kindle versions available from Amazon Kindle.

We also have a niche range of printed books available through Amazon Print on Demand which are printed in various countries based on their Fulfilment Centres in Europe, North America and Japan and can ship to customers around the world.

This site uses affiliate links with Amazon associates. This means that when you click through a link on this website and make a purchase, the author receives a small royalty from Amazon, but this does not affect the price that you pay for the product and we only use affiliate links for our own Let’s Sign at DeafBooks publications.

DeafBooks was established over 23 years ago by Cath Smith, a qualified Social Worker with Deaf People and British Sign Language Interpreter with many years experience of work within the Deaf community, education and families to meet the need for well informed materials produced to the highest standards for those teaching and learning BSL.

We are completely self-financed with no grant aids or subsidies.  Income from sales is used to fund the considerable development work we continue to produce in providing a wide range of engaging educational materials in the field of deafness, special needs and baby signing.  This work includes collaborating with many different individuals, agencies and charities – and in providing free resources when appropriate.
